this world is designed

for us to become Ḥusaynī

like an acorn

that with time, soil and water

becomes an unbendable tree

that is our nature

but we must choose to be nurtured

for choice is all we truly possess

by God’s Decree

so whether in the west or the east

root your self

in the soil of obedience

for even the oldest sequoia

will one day lose all its leaves

and become soil itself

to plant a Garden

or be fuel for a Fire

that never ends

so bless Muhammad and his Family

and never forget to choose wisely

and become the tree

God intended you to be
